Fraudulent Transactions
There are various reasons why a transaction may be considered fraudulent. Below, are examples of why a transaction may be considered fraudulent.
- The cardholder is claiming that they were not in possession of the card at the time of sale and that they did not authorize or participate in the transaction.
- The cardholder issuing bank declined the transaction due to suspicious activity.
- PayCafe may have declined the transaction based on suspicious activity or other business rules that have identified the transaction or customer as a possible fraudulent transaction.
